This special video offers us a curatorial behind-the-scenes, as artist Mariana Castillo Deball takes Modern Art Oxford curator Amy Budd around her art studio in Berlin.
In their chat, Deball explains the process of, and inspiration behind, creating the ceramic works featured in her exhibition, Between making and knowing something. These ceramics for Modern Art Oxford are born out of the artist’s ongoing research into museums, the observational science of people and cultures and archaeology.
