Museum of Modern Art Papers, Volume 1: Louise Bourgeois
Posted
This volume contains eight essays. Four of these by Phyllida Barlow, Michael Corris, Adrian Rifkin and Hilary Robinson, were delivered in their original form at a symposium organised by the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford to mark the opening of two simultaneous exhibitions of the artist’s work in 1995, The Prints of Louise Bourgeois and Louise Bourgeois: Sculpture.
The contributions from Katy Deepwell, Pamela Kember and Caryn Faure Walker have been adapted from the illustrated lectures each gave in a supporting lecture programme. The contribution given by Ian Cole is extracted from a trio of essays which formed the Museum’s exhibition guide for the two shows.
